Brewing in PA
Brewing batch #2 here in PA, American Wheat. Just sampled and crashed my first batch, a Kölsch with Mandarina Bavaria hops, tasted great. Still using the No-Chill method. Probably get numbers on first couple of batches and then get lazy as I trust my process and really have no desire to brew for com...

If you guys haven't gotten the PB2 yet I have seen it at either Costco or Sam's in the past. I believe one or the other was carrying it regularly.

Re: Barrel Aged Gunny Project
Might be a good idea to have an additional 5-10 gallons of the base beer ready when you pull the sample. If you decide the beer is ready to serve at Fest but could still benefit from additional time in the barrel you can pull 5 gallons to serve and refill/top-off the barrel to sit longer.

Re: New recipes
I'll second PatRay's suggestion for Zymurgy. If you aren't yet a member of the AHA I would suggest joining for at least a year and getting access to their magazine and online resources. Re: Clean In Place Ball
I use them, but a necessity for 20bbl fermenters and brite tanks... There are smaller versions and they make cleaning easier as well as use less water (a good argument in the AV).)

Have both the burner and keggle but they are in PA now. Didn't sell before I left so will make use of them here until I get a new system.

Keggle, Propane Burner
Decided I am not taking my half barrel keggle and my propane burner.
Keggle - 1/2" stainless, weldless valve and stainless pick-up tube. $100.
Propane burner - comfortably holds the keggle, due to design it may not hold wider kettles. $25

Re: Danby Two Tap Kegerator
If moving it across the country wouldn't add to the price I'd probably take it, planning to get one for my father-in-law when we get to PA.
