Clean In Place Ball

Post by jaxbru-n » Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:33 am

OK my wife says I'm lazy, I prefer to think of it as working smarter not harder with that being said I've been looking into CIP balls for my Blichmann fermenter.
Any of you use these?
Any thoughts, opinions or suggestions?

I use them, but a necessity for 20bbl fermenters and brite tanks... There are smaller versions and they make cleaning easier as well as use less water (a good argument in the AV).)

I use one in my 22 gallon fermenter... Nice to have, but since I have to move it outside to clean, it's hardly clean in place.. more like run it and it magically turns clean. You'll need to have a pump... I went overboard and have a Liberty submersible pump, I don't recall the specs, but could look them up if you need me too... it empties a 5 gallon bucket in the blink of an eye... and can handle hot caustic (PBW).
