I know we have a few peeps who will be breaking their fest teeth this year. I have a few questions.
Is anyone planning on bringing a camp beer?
Is Street doing the normal Sunday hangover omelets? Normal donation of $10?
Will there be power for those of us lucky enough to sleep with assistance? I'd hate to clubbed with a sock and soap by either using a generator or snoring.
Who is going?
What logistical support is required to get everything we need to Vail Lake?
Whats up with the theme? Last I heard is we're rocking life guard outfits, which I think is brilliant. Can we use club funds to purchase the shirts and a bulk order of zinc oxide in advance with everyone paying their part on site?
What about the menu signs? The year before last, the giant wood board worked (thanks to the rain), but we definitely struggled to get that thing in dry ground last year. Thoughts on how we can improve the effort this go a-round?
What kind of bribe will it take for Andy and the rest of the SoCal HOA to get us a better spot in the "lottery"?
Fest Details?
Re: Fest Details?
Alright only two weeks until fest!
First things first we are in sites 400-407(arroyo seco). It should be just 100 yards or so past where we camped last year, so walking distance to the fest site. I have not heard if they've gotten the electricity running, so I would assume there won't be. They haven't bugged me to give each site a unique name, so maybe we'll get off the hook and all the sites will be in my name Street Beguhl. I'll let you know if that changes.
I also haven't seen anything on check in times, but I assume it will be around 1pm on Friday. I plan on being there right about then. Anyone willing to get there early and help set up the booth, would be appreciated. If you plan on getting there Friday night or Saturday morning, can you please drop your keg off with me or Dylan before fest? It's a PITA to try and get a keg hooked up later on. Also, if anyone is bringing a pin lock, please let me know.
I do plan on bringing my three burner stove and doing omelettes in a bag for everyone on Saturday morning. Besides that, you are on your own for food. You're welcome to use my stove and I'm sure there will be several grills around. There will also be several food vendors at the fest site.
I was told we will be next to Crown again, so hoping we'll have a good site. Still waiting to hear from Ryan if we can borrow his buddy's trailer again. If not, I'll rent a uhaul trailer with BEAVR funds. I'll tow it down there. Probably could use some help on Thursday evening before fest loading it up in the trailer.
Don't forget to bring beer for camp on Friday!
For camping, omelettes, and utensils, everyone bring $30. That should get us close.

Re: Fest Details?
Just checked the site and we will be powerless for the 2nd straight year. Long live the generator!
Re: Fest Details?
Do we need an extra CO2 tank?
Re: Fest Details?
Never hurts to have extra CO2 but I believe Dylan and I are both bringing tanks.

Re: Fest Details?
They made me feed a name for each site or else it would be a big PITA to check in. I gave them this list. If your name isn't on this list and you are going to fest, you should take screen shot of these names so you can give them one. I believe we get 2 cars per site so we'll have plenty of parking, but you'll need a name to feed them. Cell service is spotty there so best to have this list before you show up.
400 - Street Beguhl
401 - Dylan Dunn
402 - Hector Torres
403 - Gabe Oliva
404 - Kevin Blunden
405 - Steve Cotta
406 - Pat Ray
407 - Ed Dorroh
