2017 Homebrew Fest Prep Thread!

What venue will we be spreading the word of BEAVR next?

I will bring Gordon's pub table with me. I will get the trailer this week and I will coordinate the pick up of the bar with Street. I will also bring the Wheel with whatever beer names we have on the list. They will be nothing special just the names.

So apparently this year Vail is insisting on one name for every campsite to ease the checkin. I was trying to ignore them but they hunted me down and I had to feed them something. We have 9 sites total in The Oaks sites 130-138. We can checkin at 1pm. With loosing the forum I don't have the list of who wanted their own site but here is the list I gave them of names. If I put an asterisk I believe you payed me for your own site. Grab any site available if you have an rv but try to leave something centered for the group open and leave sites more conducive to tent camping open. We get two cars free per site so 18 cars which should be more than enough. If your name is not on this list, just grab any name for checkin until something is available. I think their system will backfire and it will be an even bigger PITA.

The sign holder will be ready for Fest. It's going to be pretty large, 10' x 2'-ish, so it's going to be interesting to hang from the Fest tent, but I have a plan.
Do you think the tents are 10ft wide? I know the booth is 8' so probably a little room on each side.

Should the signs be laminated?
If you have enough time to get your sign laminated, please do. The slots on the sign holder are made for a landscape paper with about 1/4" around the edge to account for lamination, if the signs aren't laminated, they'll still work.

I'm not beyond the point of no return with the sign holster, also I'm not opposed to a vertical sign rack similar to the temecula guys next to us had last year.

If that makes more sense based on how many signs we have I'll pursue that and the beer signs will be stacked vertically to the left or right of the bar in front of our tent.

Thoughts?

No rv for me this year just a tent. I plan on leaving at 10am on Friday if anyone wants to caravan. Let me know. My cell# is in the member section.

Few more trailing thoughts. Make sure the TOP of your keg is clearly labeled with the beer name. Not your initials, not 'IPA' or some other generic term. It's a nightmare plumbing 20 kegs and trying to guess what each beer is to which tap.

Again you are welcome to drop your keg off at my place beforehand. I will have a spot in my truck if someone wants to ride with me there on Friday morning.

I need the pic/image for regular BEAVR NUts. I have my Beez Nutz sign for last year, but not regular Nuts. Who has the image?? Street? Juan? :ugeek:

I've got a set of shop lights that I will bring to the campsite.
